Karen Anderson is a transplanted Iowan residing in the ‘burbs of Dallas,
Texas. If not behind the computer screen, a newly submitted manuscript,
or an often-read favourite book, she’s likely to be experimenting in the
kitchen or wandering the aisles in search of the perfect Malbec. While
completing a Humanities Degree from the University of Maryland, she
actively searches for unique and aspiring authors. Mbedzi Publishing
was created specifically to give those talented writers a voice.
Elizabeth Humphrey has edited and written newsletters, websites,
fundraising brochures, religious inspiration, and books for over twenty
years. A native of Iowa, she attended the University of Northern Iowa
and resides with her family in Colorado where she is frequently seen
haunting libraries and book stores or walking her foster greyhounds.
She is currently writing a children’s book based on her mother’s life on
an Iowa farm during the Great Depression.
Kimberley Sikora has an AFA in Fine Arts from Wharton County Junior
College, a BFA in Painting, and a BFA in Commercial Arts from Sam
Houston State University. Currently living in Eagle River, Alaska,
Sikora freelances for a variety of companies as well as creating
portraiture, murals, and paintings. Sikora works in water colour, pen and
ink, acrylic, charcoal, pencil, sculpture, pottery, stain glass, and
jewellery. She has won numerous awards in several Alaska Juried Art
exhibitions. Kimberley is currently working on children’s illustrations
for publication.
Growing up in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, Jacqui has always been an artist
at heart. She graduated from Fine Arts at the University of Cape Town
and has always had a strong involvement in Graphic Arts and Design.
She has worked for several not-for-profit organizations in Zimbabwe,
Botswana and in Ontario, Canada where she now resides. Besides being
an avid reader, she has a deep interest in her home continent of Africa
and is also currently involved in a collaborative project to design and
illustrate children's books in Southern African Languages.
